Deviation Actions
Okay, everyone. For the past few months, we have had a lot of photo that expired due to the lack of people voting. So, I'm introducing a new rule to this group.
If a deviation has a voting result such as 7-1 or 7-2 (just those two!) and there is just one day until it's expired, the deviant will be allowed to vote Yes on it and get it in the group.
Reasons why? It's simple, we really like people voting on some of the older deviations. If a deviation has a result of 7-1 or 7-2, it's obvious that it's good, so I don't see why we should waste time and space rather than just getting it in.
I hope everyone's okay with the new rule. If you have anything to say/add, please be sure to do so bellow this journal.
Wish you all a great day,
KoenigseggBG and the staff of AutomotiveFans

Voting Results From Our Second Contest
First of all, I would like to apologise for the delay of the results. They were supposed to be up last weekend but for reasons, that you wouldn't really care about, I didn't do that. But here there are...I'm proud to present you the top three photos from our automotive photography contest.
The winner, two times in a row now is 6th-gear (https://www.deviantart.com/6th-gear) with his photo of a BMW E30 M3, called Lost. He got the total of 22 points.
Second place goes to danyi03 (https://www.deviantart.com/danyi03) for his drifting BMW Z4 photo. 17 points in total were given for his photo.
kam-photo (https://www.deviantart.com/kam-photo) came third, with his BMW 330i photo. This great piece of photography got 11 points.
So congratulations
Voting Has Just Begun!
That's right. I've finally found some time today, to organize and put up the voting news entry.
You can find it here.
If you vote on it, please make sure to "Like" it, so that more people see it and give their opinions. That way, we will popularize our group and our talanted photographers.
Have a nice day.
:)
Deadline for entries + Some changes
Hey there, fellow car nuts. Long time, no see, eh. :D
First of all, I would like to remind you, that today is the last day for you to get your entries in. The journal for entires is located here. Please do read the contest rules before posting your entry, though. :)
Second of all, some changes that I've made around, mostly suggested by members.
1. As a lot of submission get expired (aka we don't have enough active members to vote regularly on all submissions), I've lowered the voting limit from 10 to 8. Hopefully, this way submission will get accepted/rejected faster. Thanks to Swanee3 (https://www.deviantart.com/swanee3) for this suggestion.
2. We've got a new Cars'n'B
Car Photography Contest [Week 2 : Entry]
It's back! :) I've got a few ideas on how to improve this contest, let's see if they work.
1. Post a link to your best photo, related to this weeks theme.
2. You can only post 1 (one) photo per theme. The photo must be taken by you.
3. The deadline for you to post your entries is : 25th April, 23:59:59 GMT.
4. Photo edits are allowed but don't over-do it. Also, no virtual tuning, vectors or drawings.
This week's theme is : European Tuners
AMG, Brabus, AC Schnitzer, TechArt, Gemballa, ABT, Carlssonn, Novitec, G-Power, OPC and many others. Any car tuned by an European tuning specialist can be entered.
Voting starts as soon as the votes

So many votes? Don´t you think a bit less would do it as well? I´m contributor in groups where you only need 2 or 3 votes, the process is much faster. I personally would think that 3 or 4 votes would be a good compromise.
